Nabbed from relativelylucid: I count myself a foodie, but there are things I can't eat due to allergies...therefore, this list is slightly barer than it would be without the allergies. (Slightly. There are a few things I know I ate before the allergies kicked in, as a toddler. I just can't remember what they taste like.)

I also found the list to encompass odd extremes. Roast beef to Haggis--their weirdness levels are in no way comparable. I think it could have been a much more extensive list. Fish stuff isn't the only weird food.

Wonder who made the list

It doesn't look like it originated in the US or I'd expect a few other oddities like bear meat & pralines. My guess is a Brit, Aussie, or Canadian origin.

I think I've tried all except the guinea pig, reindeer, Durian fruit, & the Australian specific ones (Australian meat pie, kangaroo, Moreton Bay Bugs, Barramundi).

Very eclectic diet there. The list is heavy on the 'other white meats' though, so I haven't done that many, regardless of my own eclectic diet. It needs more entries for middle eastern and mexican, the main staples of my diet. Baba Ganoush, Falafel, Tabouli, and refried beans in a tortilla, anyone?
