Memeage, because there are some things I do really extremely well [Mar. 1st, 2005|09:32 pm]

Grammar. Spelling. That kind of thing. (And yes, I can put together full sentences, when I wish to do so.)

English Genius

You scored 87% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 88% Expert!
You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

Take it yourself:
The Commonly Confused Words Test. You don't have to be an OkCupid member.

P.S.: Because it's occupying a great deal of my thought and it might as well be occupying some of my friends', here's the Bardic Madness XV website again: http://www.shatteredoak.org/events/bmxv.htm.

Question about Bardic Madness

For lunch, the web site invites us to patronize the local restaurants. Are we allowed to bring food and eat it on-site?

The same question applies to feast. We can sit off-board. Can we eat off-board?

Re: Question about Bardic Madness

Yes to both! The hotel has been very amenable to our bringing in food.

The Feast staff did say that the cooking area, since it is cobbled together in a meeting room with lots of roasters (not really a kitchen), is NOT available for event attendees to cook, store, or prepare food. But if you simply bring in your meal, there should be no problem.

Boy, I've been a rotten friend. We *have* to get together sometime in the near future. The SCA isn't something I can get involved in as much and I miss ya! (Rich works at 7AM every Sunday and it just makes events stressful rather than relaxing for us.)

I'm writing myself a note to e-mail you when I get home.

Love ya,
