Eliane/Jennifer's trip to Provence: photos! [May. 31st, 2006|12:12 am]
[mood |sleepysleepy]
[music |late-night silence]

Blogger is acting up, so this is the first place I'm posting the link to my Provence vacation photos:

Please visit! I've included copious comments with most of them. I take photos pretty sparingly when I travel, so this is not an unmanageable set (only 53 photos), and they should load fairly quickly, being minimized for web use.

I am very happy with the photos. They're colorful and pretty and capture what I experienced of the beauty of the region. There are castles and churches and cliffs and winding streets and vines and trees, and even a shepherd's shack. And some cherries and some yogurts and something called "Raspberry-Pistachio Success". And me and my co-travelers.

If you feel so moved, please leave a comment or two for any photos that particularly catch your eye.

Photos are copyright 2006, J. Friedman.

We've actually got friends who recently got married who are planning to come to Europe sometime in the near future for a type of honeymoon (I say "a type of", because they've invited us to join them for part of it), and Provence was one of the places they're considering. I'll have to see if I can persuade them. :)

No WAY! That's great. I still wish I had been able to capture the weird green light on them, though. They were like the devil's pearls.
